Greenleaf was founded by Dave Codrea and Josh Friedensohn in 2008 and has since grown to include several real estate-focused business lines with a portfolio of commercial office space, multifamily communities, and retail properties throughout the Southeast. Since its inception, Greenleaf has executed through the mortgage crisis, managed recapitalization projects, and experienced the gradual resurgence of the commercial real estate market.
All the while, the mission has remained the same: bring together passionate, altruistic individuals to positively impact our business and create long term profitable relationships with our partners. The investment strategy has been unwavering and simple as well: buy value-add, well-located properties and turn them into recurring cash flow for investors.
Nathan joined Greenleaf in early 2018 and has since acquired $100M in properties across 20+ deals. His focus is on value-add multi-tenanted office, multifamily, and Opportunity Zone deals. He also is involved with sourcing and raising capital for these projects.
In the early part of his career, Nathan spent five years in investment consulting after graduating with a Business degree from Georgia Tech. He lives in Brookhaven with his family and enjoys home renovations.
David joined Greenleaf in early 2020 to focus on National tenant NNN properties. David draws on his extensive experience in finance and investment to focus on expanding Greenleaf's reach in commercial real estate.
David is a graduate of the Hebrew Theological College with degrees in both Business and Judaic Studies. He devotes significant time as an advisor and is an active leader in his local community. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and six children.
Partner NNN Fund
Andrew joined Greenleaf in 2018 to launch a Triple Net fund. His focus is on national tenant NNN properties across the Southeast.
Prior to joining Greenleaf, Andrew had a 20+ year IT career. He now owns & manages multi-family & commercial properties and is a volunteer in local schools. Andrew attended the University of Florida, and currently lives in Dunwoody with his wife and daughter.
Dominique joined Greenleaf as Investor Relations Manager in 2020. Her focus is cultivating strong relationships while assisting in managing communication to current and potential investors.
Throughout her pursuit for her Master's degree at Emory University School of Law (May 2020), Dominique emphasized in business case law with a focus on the investor conflict within management such as complex legalities, strategic planning, and financial statement analysis.
Investment Team Lead
Natalie joined Greenleaf in 2015 to lead the investment team, assisting with the full deal lifecycle including acquisitions, refinances, dispositions with a focus in investor relations and asset management.
Natalie earned her Masters in Business Communication & Leadership Studies from Western Kentucky University and is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Six Sigma Green Belt. An Atlanta native, by way of Nashville, TN, Natalie loves music, enjoys bowling and spending time at her farm in Tennessee with family.
Sarah joined Greenleaf in 2017 as Transaction Manager. Sarah's focus is on overseeing the acquisition, refinance, and disposition processes. Since joining, she has closed more than 60 transactions.
Sarah has an MA in Early Childhood Education from Manhattanville College, an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School, and a BA in English Literature from Sewanee: The University of the South. She lives in East Atlanta with her husband and cat.

Dave co‐founded Greenleaf Capital in 2008 and heads all operational activity of the company. On a day-to-day basis his responsibilities include investment & financial management, capital projects oversight, leading accounting & budgeting planning and operational execution.
Dave began his career in real estate, consulting with Deloitte. He graduated from The George Washington University with a BS in Finance and an MBA in Real Estate and Urban development. He lives in John’s Creek with his wife and three children.

Josh co‐founded Greenleaf Capital in 2008 and directs acquisitions and the asset life cycles. Relationships he has built with brokers, bankers, and investors have been a key catalyst to Greenleaf’s growth. Day to day Josh heads up the capital team and continues to grow outside partnerships.
Josh started his career with Kimberly‐Clark, managing raw materials and supply chain optimization in over 20 countries. Josh graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He lives in Peachtree Corners with his wife and four boys.
